Depuy Shoulder Lawsuit

The DePuy Shoulder Mitek Versalok Anchor is an expanding bolt that is inserted into the shoulder bone during rotator cuff surgery.   The anchor is made up of a polyetheretherketone shell and a titanium core.  The Versalok Anchor is supposed to stay securely in the bone and allow the rotator cuff adequate time to connect to the shoulder bone.  Some reports suggest that the Versalok Anchor may pull out in some cases and allow the rotator cuff tendons to separate from the bone.
